Sinlaw

  • Represented Cigar Lounges through the local and state regulatory process

  • Represented individuals dismissed by their employers upon learning they had ONLY FANS profiles and accounts. Clients were successfully rehired or attained substantial severance pay.

Criminal Law

  • Represented public official charged with embezzlement of public funds, resulting in a favorable disposition

  • Represented a college student charged with sexual assault, which, after a thorough investigation by the defense, led to a dismissal of all charges

  • Represented college students accused of sexual assault, which, after a thorough investigation, led to the District Attorney declining to file charges

  • Represented individuals charged with domestic violence, resulting in jury verdicts of not guilty

  • Represented individuals charged with violent felonies, resulting in jury verdicts of not guilty and dismissals

Business Law

  • Successfully represented a permanent makeup company against claims of Lanham Act violations

  • Successfully represented a partner in a restaurant and bar company sued by another partner for alleged contract violations. A verdict for our client resulted in the awarding of lawyer’s fees to the client.

First Amendment

  • Successfully represented a non-profit tenant association against claims of Defamation brought forward by Dennis Block and Associates in response to alleged mean tweets in a multi-million-dollar lawsuit. The Jury returned a defense verdict awarding nothing to the Plaintiff.

Personal Injury

  • Represented the spouse of a former criminal defense client in a lawsuit against a local tavern and its bouncers, resulting in a substantial settlement for her.

  • Represented a local bar against claims made by a non-patron against the bar and its staff, claiming he was unjustly manhandled by bar staff.

Sexual Harassment Lawsuits

  • Attained a substantial settlement for a former employer at a primary delivery carrier who suffered months of inappropriate touching and comments from her employer

  • Represented individuals sued by former students decades after alleged abuse was said to have occurred. Matters were resolved via settlements where clients made no contributions to settlement amounts, and no liability was ever established.

Trial Law

  • Tried over 100 cases as a prosecutor, criminal defense attorney, and civil attorney.
