Criminal Defense:
  • Acquittal in a three-strikes (life in prison) jury trial, where the client was a gang member accused of assault
  • Acquittal in a three-strikes (life in prison) jury trial, where the client was accused of stealing a car
  • Represented client accused of being a Mexican Mafia gang member, and of murdering two people.  After two trials and two hung juries, the prosecutor dismissed the murder charges.
  • Represented client accused of murder.  The jury convicted him of voluntary manslaughter instead of murder, saving the client a term of life in prison
Mental Health Defense:
  • Represented numerous Mentally Disordered Offender (MDO) clients, who are confined to State mental hospitals, resulting in favorable dispositions
Agriculture Law:
  • Represent small farmers nationwide, to help them navigate myriad administrative regulations, and defend them against government intrusion
